This is the Privacy Policy governing any and all usage of this website at www.DanJoy.biz
and its resources comprised of proprietary computer software and databases, the JOY Tests (tm) of Total Sales Ability (tm), and AccuDecide (tm) technology
(altogether, the "System").
1. Our Commitment to Your Privacy and Confidentiality:
Dan Joy, Inc. (hereinafter, "DJI") respects the privacy and confidentiality of the
information provided to it by businesses, job applicants and test-takers (hereinafter,
"Users"). You may use our System with full confidence, knowing that we shall not
misuse the information which you entrust us with, now and from time to time.
a. The personal information that DJI collects online is for DJI's internal company
use only, and will not be sold, licensed or made available to any other party for
solicitation purposes for as long as DJI continues to own its System in its entirety.
b. The business and personal information that DJI collects is needed for internal
company use such as identification, membership, testing, tracking, order processing
and payment verification purposes.
c. If you are a job applicant or test-taker your contact information, test scores,
report card(s) and/or the resume which you upload to DJI's System will be accessible
or viewable ONLY by the company or companies for whom you actually take and complete
a test. Your resume will NOT be made generally or publicly available to everyone
on the System. Any company or recruiter for whom you did not complete a test will
not be able to see your uploaded resume.
d. If you are a business (e.g., employer or recruiter), the name of your company,
the name of the city, and the zip code or postal code which you entered into our
System may be embedded in a test invitation or thank you note to the job applicant
or test-taker. However, your or any person's name, email address or phone number
will not be shared with a job applicant or test-taker, unless you authorize us to
do so.
e. Information pertaining to any test-taker's voluntary responses to an anti-discrimination validation survey stays within DJI and is never shared with any outside third party, employer, recruiter or hiring executive, except in the form of aggregate (collective) statistics, and without personally identifying any specific respondent (test-taker).
f. DJI shall safeguard the confidentiality of your personal and business information
but may share it with law enforcement agencies if any fraud, misuse or abuse is
detected or suspected, or as allowed and/or required by law. DJI saves all emails
sent or received by it, both automated and non-automated.
This notice applies to all information collected, submitted, transmitted and/or
stored on DJI's System.
2. The Way we Use Your Information:
All financial information is encrypted and protected using industry standard encryption
tools and secure server processing, and will be held in strict confidence, as permissible
by law.
a. Our credit card processor or PayPal(R) will collect your order related information
on their secure server.
b. For your protection and ours, DJI and/or our payment processor may save your
contact information, order information, login related information and your Internet
Protocol (IP) address for order processing and fraud prevention purposes.
c. The type of information that may be collected on DJI's System includes but may
not be limited to a person's name, company's name, postal address, email address,
phone number, fax number, financial information pertaining to purchases that you
make, IP Address(es), login date(s) and time(s), general business information and
voluntary responses to an anti-discrimination validation survey.
DJI will not sell your name, personal information or business information to any
other entity for solicitation purposes for as long as DJI owns this System in its
entirety. However, DJI may, at its own sole discretion, at any time, sell, license
or transfer any information pertaining to its users, in bulk, to any other entity
in the event that DJI sells, licenses and/or merges its System or business another
entity. DJI's Terms and Conditions shall continue in full
force and effect at all times.
3. Our Commitment to Data Security:
To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use
of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial
procedures to encrypt, safeguard and secure the information that we collect online.
All online ordering and online testing is done via a secure server using industry
strength encryption.
4. How to Contact Us to Correct Your Information:
If you need to correct your information:
a. If you have an account on our System, you may be able to correct certain factual
errors in your personal or business information yourself, by logging into your own
account.
b. You may send us a request that credibly identifies any error. To protect your
privacy and security, we shall take reasonable steps to verify your identity before
making any corrections or changes.
